This item came out in the Globe and Mail's Report on Business magazine. It is striking. Calgary has pretty much caught up to Toronto in terms of being "the head office centre of Canada".
Wow. Talk about a shift in the country's centre of gravity. Of course governments must intrude. First the royalty trust tax regime debacle. Now the "fair share" royalty review debacle.
What to sewer Alberta's economy and move the nation back to 1997? The Harper-Stelmach team are well on their way of doing it.
