to Save Jobs: "Royalty Report Recommendations Will

Hurt Jobs and Families"

EDMONTON, Oct. 12 /CNW/ - Oil workers from across Alberta will gather at
the Provincial Legislature on Wednesday, October 17 at 11:00 am to tell

Premier Stelmach not to implement the Royalty Review panel's
recommendations because they would have a disastrous effect on Alberta.


Derrick Jacobson, the owner of Quattro Energy Services, a small oil and
gas service company operating in central Alberta, took the initiative of

organizing this rally with his employees and other concerned Albertans.


"I am very worried about the economic implications associated with the
recommendations put forward by the panel. I believe the proposed
changes will
hurt my company, our staff, our families and our communities."
